Matchplay competitions are now well under way and all members are urged to continue the good work and keep them running to schedule. please check the boards.
Captain's day went off brilliantly with the course and the weather combining to make it a great day.
The winner of the Captain's prize was Malcolm (charlie) Campbell with 42 points, closely followed by Ken Reid on 41 and David Lewers also on 41. Barry Srokes took the Gross with a 73.
The Ladies' Captain, Mrs Maureen Hanna has her big day next Friday 2nd July and we hope she will have the same luck as the men with the weather.
The club wishes to join in the congratulations due to Graham McDowell on his magnificent victory in the US Open. Roll on the Ryder Cup!
